I was born on May 16th 1966 in Berlin, grew up in Lower Saxony and call myself a „Hanoverian“

After a remarkably boring year with a violin I received my first piano lessons at the age of 9.

At the age of 13 I started to discover the realms of music that lay beyond classical sheet music and soon started to write songs and collaborate with fellow musicians in a countless number of nameless bands.

After graduating in 1985 I studied English, Philosophy and History for 2 years. Not that this had any particular effect on me..

From 1987 until 1994 I studied Piano, Keyboards and Vocals at the Hanover Conservatory of Music, Dance and Theatre in the curriculum Jazz/Rock/Pop, hence being a professional musician.

Since 1987 I travel the venues of the world - and nothing has stayed unexplored to me...big time productions, touring, ballroom, corporate events, functions, local festivities, private parties..
